Female
- A vagina is as deep as your middle finger.
- Vagina's keep themselves clean and healthy by always producing a mucus which goes white when it is exposed to the air. Discharge prevents the Vagina drying out as well. Discharge starts to appear a little bit before your first period.
- Women and Girls can ovulate before their period.
- Painful Periods and cramps can be cause by low magnesium and calcium levels.
- Around 1 and 6 tablespoons (120 mL of blood and tissue), of blood is lost during a period.
- Water mostly makes up Menstrual fluid.
- Many girls hymen are broken through using tampons, active sports such as horse back riding, riding and cycling. Masturbation breaks the hymen as well. Opening in the hymen lets the menstrual fluid flow out.
- Fallopian tubes are around 10 cm long. Eggs travel from the ovary to uterus along the fallopian tubes.
- Females are born with around 300,000 eggs.
- Ovary's are around the size of an olive or walnut. The Uterus is about the size of a clenched fist or a pear.
- An average women has around 500 periods in their lifetime.
- If tampons have absorbed the maximum amount it is important to be changed every 4 hours. You could also try a tampon with higher absorbency. If a used tampon still has many white patches showing when you take it out after about 4 hours, you could try a tampon with a lower absorbency.
- It is really important to change your tampon or pad every 4-8 hours, as it is unhealthy to continue using them after this time. Also if you do not change your pad or tampon frequently you will start to smell as you have old blood on your body and clothes. Etc.
- PMS Symptoms; Breast tenderness, feeling bloated, feeling swollen, appetite change, headaches, acne, pimples, skin rash, constipation or diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, feeling down/sad/tired/irritable or clumsy.
- You can get cramps when your Uterus squeezes (contracts) slightly to assist is the clean out of its lining.

- Testicles are kept about 4-5 degrees below body temperature.
- Scrotum's are made of special skin which is stretchable and shrinkable
- The average sized penis is about 2 inches long when its limp and about 6 inches long when erected.
- Many males develop breasts during the years of puberty. This is completely normal, when your rib cage grows to an adult size. These breasts will spread out and not be as noticeable.
- It takes males about 3 years after the beginning of puberty to grow their testicles to the adult size.
- It takes around 8 to 10 years after the beginning of puberty to grow their penises to the adult size.
- While an erection happens, a valve at the mouth of the bladder closes so no urine (pee) can escape.
